Shuster partners with Senate counterpart to move FAA legislation

New life was breathed into a somewhat stalled air transportation bill on Wednesday as U.S. Rep. Bill Shuster and Sen. John Thune, R-South Dakota, agreed to work with their respective members to extend the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) funding and push to enact legislation that would reform the agency.

As Shuster, chairman of the transportation and infrastructure committee, met with Fayette County agricultural proponents, he conferred with Thune and struck an agreement to move the related measures forward.
